The RCPB has identified a serious need for scholarships to extend financial help to Kaua'i residents for advanced education. High rents and general cost of living on the island makes saving for college and vocational schools out of reach for many families. We will be offering graduating high school seniors, Kaua'i Community College graduates going on to four year schools, students continuing on to advanced degrees, adults returning to school as a result of career-changing needs, or those involved in technical and vocational endeavors (such as the Growing Our Own Teachers program) scholarships to help make a complete education possible. We say mahalo for your donation to help make Kaua'i students' dreams come true.

Who makes my airline, car and hotel reservations?
The RCPB will make all the arrangements for the winner. Choice of airlines and car rental companies are at the sole descretion of the RCPB. Upgrades are the responsibilty of the winner. The RCPB will try to make specific airline or car rental accommodations however the RCPB is only responsible for providing the lowest airfare with any major commercial. The winner would be responsible for the difference in cost with specific airline or rental. Arrangements must be made prior to 14 days of expected travel. The hotel reservations are on a as-available basis only with blackout dates of Christmas/New Year holiday season of Dec 22nd through Jan 4th with possible adjustment due to the days on which the holidays fall.
